Accessing the Command Prompt

Click Start and then type . . .

cmd

This will open up a "command window" with the cursor blinking at a prompt (>). To the left of the prompt you'll see the current subfolder, with the parent folder names separated by a backslash.

Most of the instructions will require changing the directory (folder) to FR.

CD\FR

Hit Enter after typing the command. Notice the use of the backslash (leans to the left).

exit

This closes the command window and returns you to Windows.

Note: Generally anything entered in the command window is not case-sensitive, so don't worry about caps or lower-case unless instructed otherwise.
